Guidelines for submitting art:
♥ Your artwork must be of Akai-san, Mikan-tan, Kou-kun, Midorin, Aoi-sama, Murasaki-dono, Tobi-han, Gin-sensei, Shirocchi, Kurocchi, or any combination of them!
♥ Your art must be in color.
♥ Your art must be at least 400 px wide. Larger sizes are lovely, as we might use them in banners or other graphics!
♥ You must save your art as either a gif, png, or jpg. Beware of transparency issues, as our gallery does not display transparency too well~.
♥ You may submit up to three pieces of artwork (you can submit more but will receive no rewards for them).
♥ Rewards are as follows:
-full body shot = 4 random cards, 1 random crayon
-upper body = 2 random cards, 1 random crayon
-two or more characters in the same shot = 4 random cards, 1 random crayon (regardless of whether or not we see all of them)

♠ Author notes: I intended to make this longer, but my creative juices kind of ran out. Also if I ever end up writing more fic, Aoi getting sent to Shop'n'Mart is going to be A Thing.
♠ The body of the fic:

It wasn't very unusual to walk into the apartment shared between rotating members of the rainbow spectrum only to find something out of place. A commonplace situation was for someone to go out for groceries only to return and find the room living room furniture covered in sheets for an impromptu wall-painting, or be suddenly assaulted by a large, friendly dog greeting its newest humans.

This grocery-shopper was, most often, Aoi. And he liked to think he had long since mastered the art of damage control. A many times had he declared that, no, the living room would not be painted pink, and white suited the walls just fine (though he would prefer some shade of blue, himself), or that Shirocchi and Kurocchi were good enough as 'pets' and that a golden retriever would needlessly complicate things.

However, he didn't quite find himself prepared to walk into the apartment, arms full of assorted baked goods, to find a pile of pumpkins and candy piled up to the ceiling. A pale arm wrapped in an orange arm-warmer stuck awkwardly out of the pile, fingers twitching. Beside it stood Murasaki, fan tucked into her arm and reading out of a thick, dusty tome fashioned with a metal buckle.

Aoi wasn't quite sure whether the best course of action would to be to drop his bags right then and there (after all, this appeared to be Mikan and Murasaki's collective fault, it wouldn't be his problem if their cupcakes and cookies got squished), or calmly walk to the kitchen, deposit his groceries, and then assess the situation. He settled on the latter.

Murasaki didn't seem to notice Aoi's entrance into the apartment, but she did look up from her book when he cleared his throat, crossing his arms and tapping his foot in a mildly passive-aggressive manner.

"Oh, hello," she said calmly, as if there wasn't a pile of gourds and Snickers burying a small girl in front of them. "Did you find any cakepops?"

Aoi rubbed his temples. "No. The store was devoid of cakepops, I'm afraid."

"Oh, that's a shame. I was looking forward to having one. Oh, well. I'm sure I can pull up a recipe tonight, and--"

Fearing that this would simply lead to another trip to the store for him, Aoi cut her off. "What's going on here?"

Murasaki blinked, and stuck a finger in the direction of the pile, eyebrows raised.

"Yes."

"We received an interesting mail order earlier today," Murasaki clarified, holding up the book. "It appears to be quite the powerful grimmoire."

"A grimmoire. Through mail order."

"Correct," Murasaki chirped. "Watch." She flipped through several pages before stopping at one with rows and rows of text. Without hesitation, she began to read it, though it was in no language Aoi recognized. After a few seconds her voice picked up speed until it was nothing more than chanting a repeated phrase. He was about to interrupt and demand she cease this foolishness at once, but a bright flash of light cut off his words before they even left his mouth.

When he was able to open his eyes, he found the room even more crowded, as a flood of lavender-colored butterflies had apparated into the apartment. One of them perched upon the pile, causing several pumpkins to tumble downwards, inadvertently freeing Mikan from its orange wrath. With a 'wahh!' she slid out, faceplanting into the carpet.

Her previous imprisonment didn't seem to phase her, though, as she abruptly pulled herself to her feet and hopped over to Murasaki. "Oooh, oooh, didja find that butterfly spell?"

"While you were incapacitated, yes," Murasaki said. "I don't think there are any 'costume spells', however."

Mikan's expression soured. "Really? Not even, like 'make me a fancy dress'?"

Murasaki shook her head, flipping through more pages.

"Well, at least we have candy now!" she exclaimed, her arms out in excitement. "Aren't you glad, Aoi? You don't have to go back to Shop'n'Mart today!"
