Colors Chat #69

Note: I've been a bit busy with my international tutor stuff these past few days so because of the small delay, you'll get two additional cards after this round ends.

It's time to sit back, relax, and pour yourself an ice cold glass of... milk. All these games are so great and fun but everyone needs a chance to just unwind and talk. So welcome to Colors Chat!

Here, you will get a topic and you can talk about it all you want. Just listen to your heart and write what you feel like. For your six sentences, you'll get 5 cards. And you should always go around and talk to people, see if you can make new friends or old friends with new light on them or you know, just talk with everyone! It is a chat after all.

Today's topic:
Winter time! How is the winter in your country? Do you have snow or cold weather? Do you have some traditions which you repeat every times when it is winter? If it's cold in your country, do you like to drink warm drinks like cocoa, tea or coffee? Do you like winter sports?

Please keep all comments civil and polite. You might disagree with someone, but please do not start a flame war. THANK YOU and enjoy your weeks!

This round closes on Sunday, February 19th. CLOSED

OH MAN winter here in Canada is ridiculous sometimes ;; freezing rain alert today and just generally terrible weather. However, it worn out really fast (even though it's still pretty slippery outside). It's early Feb right now, so cold weathers are still in season, even though there's no snow. Everyone here is so super chill about the weather, though.

Generally, I drink tea, as do the rest of my family. My family and I don't really make it a hobby to drink coffee or cocoa (my parents and I never actually made it before whoops) but tea is an everyday thing. (I should also like sports but I'm an art person so I'm...kind of really not into sports haaaaha. But I'm pretty hyped up about hockey news bc it's kinda a thing here.)

Ugh freezing rain. The one thing I like about living in a desert is that I can experience warm rains sometimes. I traveled through a bit of Canada awhile back during the fall and I remember it being rainy rainy rainy...then I got to Ketchikan, Alaska and it was rainy rainy rainy.

Yeah, it does get super raining at some point of the season--then it turns cold and it becomes hail. We kinda go through several seasons in one week sometimes (much like you see in a bunch of Canada memes about weather). I'm located in the southern part of Canada and I can't imagine what it's like up in the territories lmao cries

Desert? Are you talking about Australia or..?

Ah, no where that cool, unfortunately. I'm in southern Nevada in the Mojave desert.
