No Context Theater 13

Some of you might know Kamukura as the guy who was really into boats back in the day. Rumor has it he likes memes now. He's been trying to get into anime lately but sometimes he stumbles upon something that's hard to comprehend even with his numerous talents.

The image comes from Little Witch Academia

Come up with a possible explanation for the situation in the screencap! It can be anything and as silly or serious as you wish. Don't worry if you're unfamiliar with the series, the purpose of the game is not to guess what actually happened there! Same if you are familiar with the context - pretend that you aren't and make up something on your own!

Source of screencaps will more often than not be Anime Screenshots Without Context

The magical transformation had gone horribly wrong.

The League of Extraordinary Buildings looked awkwardly at - what was formerly the - main building of Kiev University. Who sat there, stunned - by its newfound ability to sit, perhaps. It had never been able to... bend, before. The only bottom it had ever had to sit upon was its foundation, which was now awkwardly missing.

"What... is it?" Sydney Opera House whispered, leaning over to the Washington Monument. "It looks squishy."

"Shh," Wash hissed, giving Syd a sharp nudge. "It'll hear you!"

The it in question - no, the she in question, for it had a gender now, which was all kinds of confusing on its own - let out a wail.

The buildings rumbled over to the distressed - Occupant??? - and gathered around, examining the area, trying to figure out what had happened. Kiev had been new, but the sequence, which everybuilding knew was supposed to transform them into the standard rocket-powered, missile-equipped, superpowered versions of themselves, had never done something this strange before.

But try as they might, they found no clues. No power surge. No natural disaster. Even the Magic Construction Company that had been used to focus the transformation was somehow, miraculously, perfectly OSHA-compliant.

The buildings drew back, unsure of what to do now. Transforming Kiev back was out of the question - the magic never worked on Occupants, only Buildings. And surely the buildings couldn't take Kiev to battle the aliens with them now, what with her unfortunate lack of resistance to anti-aircraft missiles and everything.

Kiev looked down, her lower lip trembling, seeing her former university life and her future super-building life crumbling before her eyes.

Then Big Ben awkwardly cleared its pipes. "I do find myself," it said softly, "in need of a pilot."

The buildings stared.

"During the times that I am in my attack helicopter form, naturally," Ben clarified. "An Occupant to help me keep an eye on all the monitors and readings would be a welcome companion."

Now Kiev stared, too.

Ben reached down, extending a few hallways toward her. "Would you join me, Kiev?"

"так," Kiev whispered, quietly, hesitantly. Then louder: "Yes! I will!"

She reached up, grabbing hold of Ben's hallways, and pulled herself up onto her new feet. The gathered buildings let out a soft cheer.

"Good girl," Ben said, its clock face sparkling in the midday sun, and patted her on the back. "We'll kick some alien butts, you and me."

Kiev nodded, leaning against the clocktower and feeling an inexplicable, strange wave of heat across her windows.

She'd never blushed before...
