Hello everyone, and welcome back to Seiyuu Guess! Our host for this game is Shizuka, a rookie seiyuu who's still learning the tricks of the trade! She's been provided with a description, image, and clip of a certain character, and it's up to you to help her figure out who voices them.
This week we're continuing our anime timeline with a TV series that aired in 1998!
This girl is an awkward, quiet middle schooler with little knowledge of computers. That all changes the day she receives a strange e-mail from a classmate who had committed suicide the previous week. Soon she finds herself drawn into the Wired, an Internet-like global computer network. But as she descends further into the digital world, the line between reality and cyberspace becomes blurred. Let's hear the clip...
"Looks like you and the Wired are getting along just fine now."
"Yeah."
"Let me give you one little warning."
"Huh?"
"When it's all said and done, the Wired is just a medium for communication and the transfer of information. You mustn't confuse it with the real world. Do you understand what I'm warning you about?"
"You're wrong."
"Huh?"
"The border between the two isn't all that clear. I'll be able to enter it soon. In full range. Full motion. I'll translate myself into it."
"Even with a top of the line civilian Navi, you couldn't..."
"I can do it. I've modified mine."
"A Psyche processor, huh? But..."
"Don't worry. I'm still me."
"Sometimes I wonder."
