Colors TCG 6th Anniversary - Day 16

Hi everyone! If the banner didn't scare you away, it's time to open that closed and drag out these skeletons since we're going to talk about parts and adaptations of your canon that are forgotten... for a reason.

Tell us about that one universally hated part, about that weird spinoff, that live action movie nobody dares to watch, that anime series you refuse to acknowledge, all that stuff you generally pretend doesn't exist. Or maybe that's the common opinion about something in your canon but you happen to like it or at least think it wasn't as bad as everyone says? Please criticize to your heart's content but refrain from saying things like "anyone who liked this must be stupid" since you never know, this might be someone's opinion about it.

For answering you'll get sixsational16 as well as six random cards!

This game, like all anniversary games, will close on July 1, noon GMT!

visual novel adaptions in general. i know most of them are bad, but i keep watching them anyways because they're so much fun to watch?? but i really dislike when people take a single glance at an adaption and build their entire opinion around one single wonky ep they have watched, especially when they KNOW (!) that vn adaptions tend to be executed badly.

in general, i really hate it when people don't understand the concept of otome games - not the "why do you like this" crowd, but the crowd that whines and moans and bitches and cries and rages about how stupid and shitty and passive and boring the female protagonist is. like, you can explain for hours and days why the protagonist is the way she is (because she's a placeholder for YOU and YOU are supposed to be HER), but they just don't understand it. and when they do, they go on and on and on about how they're totally not like that and they'd totally act completely different than the female mc!!!11 like, yeah we get it, you're not like the other gurlz, but please calm down. and stop applying your western ideals and views on japanese media.

as for series installments i didn't like.. i can't think of one, but i really disliked all inazuma EDs/OPs sung by sorano aoi's voice actor. i really hate her voice and it was so damn obvious that they desperately tried to push her career, WHICH DIDN'T WORK AT ALL APPARENTLY? as far as i know, only inazuma fans know her, and she never managed to become popular outside of the fanbase. i'm one of those people who are forever salty about the lack of berryz koubou, i admit it. ;(
speaking of iego, THE ENGLISH IEGO GAME DUB IS???? thank you, great britain, for being absolutely racist, giving every single character a different nationality and having the voice actors speak in heavy and FAKE foreign accents. not to mention the absolute dub name fail that is kurama.. who was renamed into michael ballzack. i'm really glad that they games are being released in europe, but my god. i never thought a dub could really ruin something, but then i look at tsurugi-- i mean VICTOR in the english dub and i feel really sorry him. he's supposed to be the cool guy around, but the dub made him sound like a 10 year old. it's. just terrifying. i'm still crossing my fingers that iego galaxy will be released soon-ish, and since it's the last game of the series, it will also put an end to the terrible dub. :')
