Colors TCG 6th Anniversary - Day 08

Hey, Colors! Ever wanted to sit all your fellow pixel card people down and tell them to watch/read/play your favorite anime/manga/video game/weird Japanese thing? NOW YOU CAN! There's just one small twist, though...

For Day 8, you'll have to recommend us an anime/manga/video game without using its name! Try to not include the names of the characters, actors, studio, etc., either - that would make it too easy! Just sell us on whatever it is you love about this thing, and hopefully you'll get some people to check it out by the time you're done!

Need some examples? Check out this post from the 4th anniversary! Discussion is encouraged, as is trying to guess other people's recommendations, so if you think you know what someone's talking about, go ahead and reply to them! You might just bond over it. c:

For your amazing recommendation, you will receive sixsational08 and 2 random cards. If you respond to the reward comment and reveal the name of the thing you're recommending (so as not to frustrate future lurkers), you'll receive 2 additional crayons! Have fun!

This game, like all anniversary games, will close on July 1, noon GMT!

after winning three tournaments in their favorite past time activity, kids have the choice to attend a prestigious school on a remote island, where they get sorted into fictional countries and continue to play their favorite game every day after class. the twist is, when they lose even ONCE they get expelled from school and count as 'lost' - after a while, they find out that their fictional countries are counterparts to countries that exist in real life and their games after school are proxy wars, which explains why there are no wars irl but countries still get taken over by other countries. the countries' leaders just decided that proxy wars are better for the rest of humanity, lol. this also explains why kids aren't allowed/able to contact their parents for three whole years. cue the appearance of a shady professor who looks like a 15 year old but is actually almost 100 years old. he makes up a new country and grabs students from other countries so he has a handful of soldiers. suddenly, war is very real, since apparently you aren't only expelled from school, but you actually get KILLED once you lose during the game.

ps: this is a kids show :')

sadly i don't know either of these but you can check it out yourself! it's danball senki wars |D there's also two previous seasons but wars is like, the same series but with new plot, setting and characters. you don't have to watch dansen and dansen w to understand dansen wars but it's recommended to watch it at some point because it's exciting to see the old characters all grown up! (especially because one of the old mains returns as a teacher in dansen wars)
