Advent Day 21

Hello, Colors! Just like we all come from different parts of the globe, today's conversation is going to be global! And by that, I mean we're going to talk about travel today! It happens all the time, obviously. The holidays are about family, and family means going from place to place...or maybe it means staying home!

So today, that's what I'd like you to talk about. Have you ever gone anywhere exciting for the holiday season? Have you ever traveled somewhere and gotten snowed in or had some sort of mishap that left you stranded like in all of those television episodes where Christmas is spent in the airport? What's the farthest you've traveled? Or maybe...where would you LIKE to spend the holidays? Or maybe you're going somewhere exciting for New Year's! Talk about it all here!

For answering today's chat, you'll earn three red cards and three green cards! Yahoo! This Advent chat closes at the end of December!

I moved away from home three years ago, so now I have to come back to my hometown for Christmas. It's a 3 hours trip. Nothing too exciting. It can be a bit of a hassle when I'm taking the train on my own with three cats stuffed in two carriers though... We visit my grandma on Christmas eve, but she lives less than 20km away from my parents, so that's not really something you'd count as "traveling" either.

So, yeah. Nothing exciting there. But like I've mentioned on some other topics, I'll be leaving tiny ol' Finland and I'll head off to Japan for two months in March. It'll be the first time I've ever traveled outside of Nordic countries. I'm really looking forward to that!
