COLORS WORLD CUP, GAME 3: PK SHOOTOUT

Welcome to the third day of Colors League. We're getting the ball rolling both figuratively and literally, here, and today it's time to take a leap of faith against the hands of fate and... shoot some penalty kicks.

Aoi-sama believes in scoring goals and while he will fight to the bitter end without taking any dives in the penalty area, penalty kicks are still an essential part of the game, as well, so he decided to practice them... in secret, it wouldn't do to have the other Colors Universe characters see him engaged in it and bothering him in its midst.

With this in mind he wandered into the neighborhood looking for a good place to practice. After an hour's search he succeeded when he found a pleasant little football field... although it already had people practicing on it. Fans who had traveled across the ocean to watch the Colors World Cup. ...But, alas, upon seeing Aoi-sama's eyepatch they seemed to become happy and gladly welcomed him to practice. And thus started...

...the PK shootout.

RULES

Ever played Battleship? The idea is pretty much the same. The goal, guarded by one of the fans, is represented by a grid. Each goalie has certain squares that are blind spots where they fail to catch the ball. Every player has 5 penalty kicks to use for finding these spots.

Here's how the game progresses.

-A team member shoots by replying to their team's comment thread with the form given at the bottom of this post.
-I will reply ASAP with one of three possible results.

The goalkeeper catches the ball! - A miss.
Your shot goes flying into the goal! - A hit.
Your shot goes flying into the goal! ...You've uncovered the goalkeeper's blind spot! - A hit, and your team has now hit all the squares that belong to that specific blind spot.

-The next team member shoots. They can shoot before I've responded to the previous shot if they wish to. There must be at least 2 teammates in-between before the same person can shoot again.

Every player (with certain exceptions, to be explained below) has 5 shots. To pass the game and score a goal for their team in the Colors World Cup, a player must

EITHER shoot all 5 of their shots
OR shoot 3 of their shots but score (hit) with at least one of them.

THE GRID

The grid is sized 6x12 squares, marked A-L for horizontal and 1-6 for vertical rows. The blind spots go as follows.

5 singular squares
4 formations of 2 squares
2 formations of 3 squares
1 formation of 4 squares

All of the blind spots are shaped like a straight line. They can be horizontal or vertical, but not diagonal. They also do not touch each other at all. (And they are placed randomly, so they may not be in spots a real goalie would have the most trouble with.)

Every team's grid has been randomized but since it's much wider than it is tall, I've weighted the randomizing to make horizontal shapes twice as likely to appear in the randomizing as vertical ones. The exact amount of each is still left to chance, however.

A same square can be shot at more than once.

PRIZES

While you can pass the game without hitting anything, finding blind spots and hitting all of their squares gives rewards, as well. They go as follows.

Singular squares = Hitting 2 is worth 1 random card (rounded up), but one of the five is a random special that gives 1 random crayon
2-squares = 1 random card each
3-squares = 2 random cards each
4-square = 3 random cards

Making the potential earnings for this game 13 random cards and a crayon. At the end of the game I'll tally how many blind spots each team has uncovered and every team member who contributed (regardless of whether they hit anything or not) will receive the prize sum their team has accumulated.

Please use this form when answering and don't forget to include your team name. Also, please use capitalizated letters with square names so there won't be any confusion between uppercase and lowercase letters.

Mikan United, AC Kou, Real Midorin, FC Murasaki, this concludes the rules explanation for you guys, go ahead and start firing.

Eintracht Akai, A.O.I., Chelsea Tobi, Torpedo Gin, Shirocchi Hotspur, Sainte-Kurocchi Olympique, since you guys have one less player (or in A.O.I.'s case I can't participate myself), you currently have 40 shots to use against others' 45. To even it out, I'm posting a comment thread below where five players from every one of these teams can claim a sixth shot to use. This shot is not counted for game-passing purposes so you don't need to use it to pass but you can use it to help a teammate in a pinch or just try to get more prizes. The shots are offered on a first-come-first-serve basis but only one extra shot per player.

This game, like the other League games, ends on my wonderful birthday, August 18th, at noon GMT +-0.
