COLORS WORLD CUP, GAME 1: PASS IT ON!

Welcome to the first round of the Colors World Cup! Today's event is about the fundamentals. If you want to score a goal, you're going to have to be ready to pass to your teammates, of course...and this being a TCG, of course we ought to practice passing cards instead of balls, right?



This event works similarly - but not identically - to our regular Acrostic Trading Post game. You will be trading cards that fit certain parameters to spell out a word with your teammates!

How it works:
- Each team has its own unique five-letter word to spell.
- You will need a trade for each letter, and each trade must be with a different team member: if Bob trades Aerith for his first letter, then he can't trade her again for any of the others. He'll have to move on to someone new.
- To count a trade for a certain letter, one of the cards must start with the letter you're trying to earn: if you trade asobot15 for cain03, that trade could count for either an A or a C!
- It has to be a card that makes your letter; unlike Acrostics, player names do not count as letters in this game.

But it's a little more complicated than that: while either card can be your letter, the card you trade away (whether it's used as your letter or not) must fall within a certain number range, depending on your position on your team:

Goalkeeper: 1-5
Defender: 6-10
Midfielder: 11-15
Striker: 16-20

Both team members must fulfill this condition for a trade to count in this game. If Bob is the goalkeeper and Aerith is a defender, Bob could trade asobot04 and Aerith could trade cain09 for their A, or for their C (or each could use it for a different letter) - but Aerith can't trade cain03, for example!

Each successful pass (trade) will earn you two random cards; completing all five to finish the word will get you a goal for your team and a random crayon! Remember, you must give me your team name to get that goal!

(The list of words has been assigned to teams via randomizer, and very uncommon letters have been deliberately avoided. It's as even as I can feasibly make it. o/ )
